Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and women's auxiliary of VFW.

Magna; Mrs. Val (Betsy) Simmons, Provo; 16 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, 
Elvin, Neil, Rich, Robert, Elwood, Mrs. Marvin (Elfine) Turner, Mrs. O. W. (Virginia)
Harman, Mrs. Darrell (Eddis) Day.
Funeral services, Friday 2 p.m., at the Granger 6th Ward, 3273 Hillsdale Drive.
Friends may call, Thursday 6-8 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood
Road, and Friday at the church one hour prior. Interment Elysion Burial Gardens.

HENRY EARL HILL

H. Earl Hill, age 85, of 3423 Pearce Dr., Grange, Utah died June 2, 1980. Born Sep-
tember 19, 1894 in Granger Utah a son of Alexander Joseph and Betsy Bawden Hill.
Married Mary Alta Bunker, June 29, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Nov. 
1, 1977. Served a Southern States Mission and was a retired Kennecot employee; 
served as bishop of the Granger 3rd Ward and was a lifelong farmer in Granger. 
Veteran World War I. 
Survivors include one son, two daughters, Kirk Hill, Granger; Mrs. Wayne (LaVelle) 
Sandall, Magna; Mrs. Val (Betsy) Simmons. Provo; 17 grandchildren; four great-
grandchildren; one brother, two sisters, John D. Hill, Granger; Vinne Sanon, Salt 
Lake City; LaVelle Reni, Cleveland, Ohio. 
Funeral services Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Granger 6th Ward, 3273 Hillsdale Drive. 
Friends may call Thursday 5-8 p.m., McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood and 
Friday one hour prior at the chapel. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
