Ina Miner Pitcher
1916 ~ 2000 Our beloved mother, grandma, great-grandma, and aunt, Ina Miner Pitcher, 84, passed away peacefully on Aug 16, 2000 in South Jordan, Utah. Born in Lehi, UT on January 21, 1916 to Paul and Ethel Bunker Miner. Ina married her eternal sweetheart, Callis H. Pitcher on October 3, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple. They spent their married life in Springville, then Calgary, Montreal and Toronto, Canada. Cal passed away in 1973 in Toronto, at that time Ina returned to make her home in Springville. She spent the last 8 years in South Jordan, Utah. She was a truly beautiful lady, with many talents and hobbies. She loved and was loved by many friends and family. Her gentle strength and love will be missed by all who knew her. She was an active member of the LDS church, her whole life long, and held many callings in many church organizations. She is survived by her children: LeAnne (Norman) Davis of South Jordan; Nancy Horden of Deep River, Ontario, Canada; Brent (Mary) Pitcher of Riverton; and Joan Beaudin of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, parents, sister, brother and two grandsons preceded her in death. Services will be held Monday, August 21st, 11 a.m. in the Springville Stake Center, 245 South 600 East. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville and 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. |
