Enid Davis Bunker
1925 ~ 1999 DELTA--Enid L. Davis Bunker, our beloved Mother, Grandma, Sister, and Aunt passed away February 13, 1999 at Kaysville. She was born November 26, 1912 in Hinckley to Edward (Ted) and Lavenia Hutchinson Davis, 9th of 11 children. Attended school in Hinckley, then worked in Salt Lake City before marrying Ree H. Bunker on April 17, 1933. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. The moved to Long Beach, California in 1935 and lived there for 17 years. Ree passed away September 7, 1961. Our Mother was a faithful and dedicated employee of Dr. C. B. Cox for 28 years. She loved his family because they were so good to her. She was a very caring and giving person. One of her greatest joys in life was having her family near her.She is survived by sons and daughters: Ed (Cleon) Bunker, Ocala, Florida; Lynn (Barbara) Bunker, Littleton, Colorado; Bob Bunker, West Valley City; Janet (Jack) Clark, Kaysville; Paulene (Rick) Dykhuizen, South Jordan; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother: Tam Davis, Delta. Preceded in death by brothers: Lewis, Lee, Jerry, Verd, Dan, Elgin; sisters Cecil, Clara, Nell. Her family thanks all of her friends who have given her love and support and would like to also thank Davis County Hospice for the excellent care they have given her and the family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 16, 1999 at 2 p.m. in the Delta 3rd Ward. Friends may call at the Church on Tuesday from 12:30-1:40 p.m. Burial will be in the Delta Cemetery under the direction of Nickle Mortuary. |
