Darrell Snow Day
1916 ~ 1992 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, Darrell Snow Day, 76 passed away June 24, 1992 at home of cancer. Born February 17, 1916, Draper, Utah to Andrew Jackson and Mary Elizabeth Snow Day. Married Eddis LuRae Bunker on May 28, 1938 in the Logan LDS Temple.Darrell fulfilled a mission to the Northwestern States. He enjoyed sports and was a high school all-state basketball player. Also played semi-professional baseball. Darrell was a member of Draper's Lions Club, Utah Retail Grocer Association, Utah Restaurant Association and Food Service Executive Association. He retired as general manager of ITT Continental Baking Company. Survived by his wife; and sons, Robert D. Day (Kathleen), Marvin B. Day (Roylene); daughters, Phyllis D. Griffiths (Reid), Elizabeth D. Gloeckner (Peter); brothers, Andrew Jackson Day II, LaCanada, California; Ralph S. Day, Draper; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, one sister Phyllis Smith, brothers, Willard, Ross, Henry and Harold. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, June 27, 1992 at 11 a.m. a the Mt. Olympus 7th Ward Chapel, 4407 Fortuna Way. Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East 7600 So., Friday, June 26, 1992 from 6-8 p.m. and at the church the day of the service from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment Draper Cemetery. |
