Anna Sorine Hedvig Larsen Bunker
1922 ~ 2009

Anna Sorine Hedvig Larsen Bunker returned home to her Heavenly Father on July 19, 2009 at her home in Pleasant Grove, Utah surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born in Alborg Denmark on October 2, 1922. She was the oldest child of 13 born to Otto and Anine Larsen.

In 1949 she immigrated to the United States and traveled to Salt Lake City working many different jobs, but her love was nursing; working in labor and delivery. She loved taking care of babies. She was working as an LPN at Utah Valley Hospital when she met her future husband Antoine LeGrande Bunker. They married on August 4, 1950. Anna and Antoine worked alongside each other on the family farm they owned in Orem, Utah and were kept busy raising their growing family.

Anna had a great love of family history and worked many hours researching records to find her ancestors and do their temple work. You could always find family group sheets throughout the house. She was an active member of the LDS Church in the Vineyard Utah Ward and served in many callings in Primary, Relief Society, Young Women's and LDS Name Extraction.

On October 7, 1994 her beloved husband Antoine passed away. Anna sold the farm in 2000 and moved to the Battlecreek 4th Ward in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Anna will always be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was loved by all who met her and will always be known as a feisty little Danish lady that was sometimes hard to understand with her heavy accent. Her family will miss her more than words can express.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband Antoine Bunker; parents Otto and Anine Larsen; sisters Gerda Hansen, Konny Hansen and Ketty Pedersen; brothers Kristian and Hans Larsen.

She is survived by her children Andrew (Sue) Bunker of Lehi, Utah, Ralph (Debbie) Bunker of Heber, Utah, Kim (Linda) Bunker of Payson, Utah, Clint (Anita) Bunker of Cedar City, Utah, and Linda (Boyd) Draper of Highland, Utah; step-children LeGrande Bunker of Mapleton, Utah, Ivan (Elisa) Bunker of Camarillo, California, and Miriam (Orson) Stilson of Fairview, Utah; sisters Mabel Hansen of Salt Lake City, Utah and Vita Eriksen of Alborg Denmark; brothers Holger Larsen of Orem, Utah and Orson (Ann) Larsen of Reno, Nevada; 51 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and 52 great-great-grandchildren.
