We celebrate the life of Eddis LuRae Bunker Day who died July 30, 2000 in Salt Lake City, the week of her 84th birthday. Born in Delta, Ut, July 21, 1916, to Ezra and Mary Terry Bunker. Married Darrell S. Day, May 28, 1938 in Logan, UT. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1992. She was also preceded in death by a son, Marvin B. Day, Jan. 30, 1995. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially enjoyed her work in the Primary Organization. Her family was most important and always came first. Eddis and Darrell's extended family was always welcome in their home and enjoyed. Former resident of Draper, Ut and Olympus Hills, Salt Lake. Eddis loved her friends, both old and new; those relationships sustained her in this life. The family especially appreciates the friendships extended to Eddis over the past year. Survived by son, Robert D. (Kathleen); daughters, Phyllis Griffiths (Reid); Elizabeth Gloeckner (Peter); daughter-in-law, Roylene Day; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grand- children; brothers, Robert and Elwood Bunker; sister, Virginia Harmon. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, August 3, 2000, 12 noon at the Wasatch 5th Ward, 8100 S. Top Of The World Drive (3765 E.) Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) Wednesday, August 2, 2000 from 6-8 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Draper Cemetery.
